2024 Progress Overview

The Agency, established to enhance the delivery of social and environmental infrastructure, continues to promote inclusive development under the NG-CARES Programme and other interventions.

This dashboard highlights the significant achievements of the Community and Social Development Agency (CSDA) Niger State in 2024. With a total budget of 7.95 billion Naira, the agency has actively undertaken projects across vital sectors including Water, Education, Flood & Erosion, Health, Transportation, and Nutrition. Demonstrating substantial progress, 194 out of the 204 planned projects have already been completed, reaching 101 communities across 24 Local Government Areas (L.G.A.s) within Niger State, and benefiting a total of 1,376,475 individuals. The sectoral budget allocation reflects the communities' s priorities, with a strong emphasis on Health, which has received the largest investment of 6.1 billion Naira. Significant resources have also been directed towards Water (973.89 million Naira) and Education (496.48 million Naira). The completion of a vast majority of the planned projects early in the year coupled with the impressive number of beneficiaries, underscores the CSDA's efficiency and commitment to delivering impactful community and social development initiatives throughout Niger State in 2024.
